Five signs you're overthinking it

Five signs you're overthinking it

Five signs you're overthinking 'it'. Or actually, you're not. And eff off with the listicle, Kate!

One: you've had the same conversation with yourself more than three times, and you're no closer to an answer.

Two: you've asked everyone around you for their opinion, and now you're more confused than when you started. 'Cause guess what? They all agree that whatever you decide is right, 'cause you're amazing. You are. Still not helpful.

Three: You keep waiting for more information before you decide. The information has arrived. You're still waiting.

Four: It's been months. Nothing has actually changed.

Five: You know what you want. You've tried to act on it before and not gotten anywhere. It's an execution problem.

If you're asking me what I think is going on (I know you're not - bear with me) - It's not overthinking.

Overthinking implies you're working the problem too hard.

So there's a secret number six - it's that you might not be admitting what you really want yourself, you just know you're not happy with the safe, public answer.

Firstly, give yourself a break. This is SO FLIPPING NORMAL.

The problem isn't that you can't decide. It's that you already know and you're not quite ready to admit it yet.

That's exactly what The Decision Point is for.

It's six sessions over 6-10 weeks. We work out what you actually want, not the sensible version. We pick a direction you believe in. We build the plan. And then I make sure you actually do something about it.

If any of this screams in your earholes, 'ME!', book a no pressure call to chat it through and to see if we should work together.
