The less you do, the less you feel like doing. Stay active!  For interviews however we need to be in top form not only physically but also mentally.

As Leonardo da Vinci says, “inaction saps the vigour of the mind”.  Interviews require a sharp and alert mind and to keep the mind in trim you need to treat it like a muscle: and how do you keep your muscles in trim?  You exercise them!

Here are 6 brain training exercises to keep your mind sharp, alert and focused.

1 Decrease your stress level by meditating.
2 Do mental arithmetic at every opportunity.
3 Suspend judgment and practice deep listening.
4 Draw maps in your mind of recent trips.
5 Talk aloud as well as internally to yourself.
6 Routinely write out positive self affirmations.
