Successful people never use…

As a child you undoubtedly heard the phrase, “There’s no such word as can’t.”

However, many of us as adults seem to have forgotten this early years lesson, particularly those of us who are in job seeking mode who often have to cope with rejection after rejection.

Here's a challenge for you. Count how many times you say or think the word "can’t" over the next 24 hours. If your score is zero allow me to congratulate you.

"Can't" has nothing to do with achievement, making things happen or getting things done. As Elbert Hubbard said, "The man who says it can't be done is generally interrupted by someone doing it."

Forget "can't" and get on with it. Always aim high - even if you miss, you'll still be higher than you would have been if you had originally thought "I can't" and aimed low.
