How to avoid procrastination.

How to avoid procrastination.

"I'll just have a quick coffee and then I'll get on with writing this post."

A few personal tips: write a simple daily plan; stop diving in and out of your inbox; stick to the task at hand; stop diving in and out of LinkedIn; stick to one device, PC, laptop or tablet; stop diving in and out of the kitchen.

Here's a single easier suggestion for you. Stop saying "I'll just" - "I'll just ......... and then I'll tackle that major problem".

Homework - next time an "I'll just" thought pops into your mind, reverse it - "I'll tackle that major problem and then I'll ......... ".

Yes, that's right, have the reward after the task not before - and don't ask me how I know all this!
