Flexibility Works

Flexibility Works

The world of work has changed. Many employees are much more cautious, fearful even, and worried about their health and the health of loved ones and friends. Some are struggling with the thought of returning to the workplace and what they will find when they get there.

Good leaders need a flexible attitude and approach now more than ever. This means managing employees according to their needs and individual preferences. Returning to work may be a gradual process for some; others will be desperate to get back to some kind of normal; and others will be nervous leaving loved ones at home.

One approach does not fit all. Flexibility and adaptability should become part of your workplace culture along with creativity and determination. We need leaders who are willing to embrace change and adapt their thinking – to create new ways of working within their teams. They are the leaders who will survive and thrive in this new world we inhabit.
