The UK’s cybersecurity experts are extended a fresh wave of guidance towards the nations business leaders through a newly launched cybersecurity resource toolkit.

The National Cyber Security Centre, a part of GCHQ, is encouraging senior business leaders to engage in essential discussions with key members of the National Cyber Security Centre team.

As well as providing insight into the potential risks and costs associated with lapses or vulnerabilities in cybersecurity, the toolkit also outlines some key actions to be taken in response to data breaches or potential incursions.

While it’s vital for companies to work alongside a technical support team or with trusted cybersecurity vendors, it all starts with business leaders understanding the potential threats in the first place, in order to ensure these teams or venders are brought into the fold in the first place.
