Summary
Gene got his start in the industry at the turn of the century as a freelance cameraman in the corporate sector. Gene spent several years honing his craft on commercial shoots in the US, Europe and the Middle East, before a move to the Far East followed in 2006. For the next decade, he lived and worked in various cities such as Daegu, Guangzhou, Macau and Manila, soaking up the different flavours of cinema on offer while making contacts with, and learning from, people in the business.
